Statement of Faith

This is what I believe, my own personal statement of faith.

I believe in God the Father, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, I believe in His only begotten Son the Lord Jesus Christ, the only way for salvation and I believe in the Holy Spirit Our Comforter and Guide, His Holy Presence and His power to transform anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ to be Born Again. “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” (-1 John 5:7)

Jesus is the only Way to God the Father: The only Mediator

I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has fulfilled the law. Therefore, believers are now under the New Covenant. Therefore born again believers, Christians who trust in the Lord Jesus Christ have direct access to God and doesn't need any man to mediate for them, for the Lord Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man, no one else.

Salvation

I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father, no one else. (-John 14:6) And that only the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ can wash away our sins, nothing else and no one else.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. Who was born of a virgin, died on the cross for the sins of the world and rose again bodily on the third day, ascended to heaven, seated at the right hand of God with power and great glory.

I believe that Jesus is not just a prophet, not just a teacher, not just a man. I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is The Son of God, God Almighty, the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

I believe that salvation is by faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe there's no amount of works, rituals, etc.. that can add to the finish work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. (-John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-10)

A believer's life

I believe that being a born again believer is not just a lip service, but I believe that when a person becomes born again, there will be an evidence of that faith, a transformation. A change of heart and desire. There will be repentance and turning away from sin. I believe that there will be fruits in the believers life. (Not legalism, but being sanctified and obedient children of God who truly loves Him.) Walking and following the Lord Jesus Christ, abiding In Him. Having a personal relationship with Him. I believe that being a Christian is not just a label, but being a Christian is an identity, a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. That even though there are times that a Christian may fall and stumble in sin, by faith they will choose to repent-turning away from sin and grab the hand of the Lord Jesus Christ: striving to choose to live a holy life, not by their own strength and self-righteousness, but by the power of God--lead by the Holy Spirit: living in them and working in them, by the Grace of God. (1-John 1:6-10)

The Holy Scriptures

I believe that the Holy Scriptures is the inspired Word of God.
